Cam Ladis

Shalom! My name is Cam Landis and I am junior studying anthropology. I’m a proud member of Penn’s track and field team, specializing in the shot put. About a year ago, an injury encouraged me and gave me the time to discover more of what my Jewish heritage meant to me. I’m so fortunate that this journey has led me to MEOR and its programming! This year I’m looking forward to getting back to competing for Penn, and to continue my Jewish growth. I’m currently studying with Rabbi Fox for my Bar Mitzvah, and hopefully we can all celebrate together soon!

Leah Learner

Hi, my name is Leah Lerner and I’m a sophomore in the College studying PPE! I joined MEOR Penn last year through the Maimonides Fellowship, Jewish Executive Track, and traveled on MEOR Poland, all of which were integral parts of my freshman year experience and allowed me to connect with Judaism on levels that I never could have imagined. As we move forth into the semester, whether on campus or off, I know that MEOR will continue to be a source of light in the face of challenges. The learning and social activities will surely take a different form, but I have no doubt that the boundless opportunities for spiritual growth will persist. I can’t wait for this semester, and I feel comforted knowing that Meor will provide guidance, inspiration, and even normalcy through it all!
